I got the uDAC-5 from the last drop delivered just a few days ago (I'm in Australia so it took ages to arrive). It sounds pretty aweson compares to the Dragonfly V1.2 I accedentantly broke... However the whole unit runs pretty hot at the beginning, so hot that it disconnected from my computer. Now I put it up vertically to increase the heat dispension area and it seems to be fine, just slightly warm. I'm not sure if this is a common problem or just my bad luck.

T.D.WI also have uDAC-2 from other previous drop, mine from time to time will run hot too. I just un-plug and re-plug then it's ok. 99% of the time it's pretty cool I feel like it only bugs out once in a while and get hot. Then I just need to reset it basically.
Though I'm not sure if yours is the same issue.

T.D.WInteresting. My uDac gets warm, but not hot by any means. I've had it for 6 or so months, so would have noticed by now... Do you have the same issue with another USB port or another PC all together?

olbezOverall not much issue, except with uDAC-3 it doesn't work well on Windows 10, on Windows 7 it works perfectly. Is that fixed in uDAC-5?
