Product Description
Named after Multnomah Falls—the largest waterfall in Oregon and the second tallest year-round waterfall in the U.S.—the Multnomah Spinning Top features a bump in the stem to represent the waterfall’s two drops. It’s also fitted with two ceramic bearings: one on top and the other on bottom, so you can spin it upside down to change things up Read More

Mine arrived yesterday, it's beautiful. I've gotten a few 7+ minute spins so far, and a new co-worker I've been training actually got a successful stem-spin with it today!

What time tomorrow does this close?
UPDATE: Well, I've decided to stick with the SS Multnomah that I received this week direct from NW's site. It's a great contrast with my Brass and Copper dominated collection. And it's smoother and more polished than I excepted.

After spinning this top for a few days, just thought I should add that I'm STILL grooving this thing. It looks great sitting or spinning. But the diameter of the stem, combined with the ribbed design, makes for an amazingly controlled spin and release. I just cannot get a bad spin out of it (unless upside down, that's a different story 😁). What a great addition to my tiny collection.

Is the video available now? I haven't figured out a good technique for this.

Just landed. A little smaller than I had envisioned (as was the Jefferson, so I shouldn't be surprised), but great looking. And what a great spinner. I'm VERY happy with so far.

Nice stable spinner. Hard as hell to spin upside down. I think the method is an inverted flick but that's death for your top if you miss the spin station.

Just got mine in.
The weight is so nice, I now know I only will like heavy metals, ignoring designs of others, sorry but weight is far more valuable to me personally even though so many materials produce some beautiful patterns, oh well.
All of that our of the way, dear god this thing is micro sized. Not trying to be rude about it, but damn I just was like what? Yet it feels so right.
I will buy a mirror as recommend because I am not willing to buy K9 glass today until I know what I am going to truly like for a spin station.
So just spinning it on the safest thing I have, it makes this beautiful sound when your fingers brush against the handle and even the body. I am hooked, damn it, I can already see my KB being neglected now. This is F'ed.
No wobble, just me being weird.
Here are some pics. New trend incoming at MK Reddit. Someone want to steal my post and repost since my karma sucks A?

Thanks, really appreciate that. We definitely invite you to tell makers whose work you like about Massdrop and encourage them to reach out directly through the help center or by creating polls for their products.
PS - Your secret is out. How big do you want? By which I really mean, what's your price ceiling and minimum height/depth, because I'm thinking we can go to at least 6" wide.

JonasHeinemanNothing wrong with going to 6. 5 is typical and expensive as is. I am down. I will do my best to link some spin station guys. I just got into this so, I have no weight yet. :D

I received my Stainless steel Multnomah this afternoon. I bought it outside the drop..... it was worth the few extra $$ to get it like now!! its spinning so smooth right now. i love copper. But I wanted a top which is less prone to dings and patina. I don't mind em. I just wanted a top which is stainless and probably ding less first spin without much effort on a 5 inch mirror spun for 5:20. This top spin very nicely. It also looks beautiful doing it.

YaesumofoSo I have tried several mirrors and lenses. From my perspective a larger flat surface is best for this top. my spin Time went up to the 9:30-9:45 range. Much better. Spinning the top on the spindle bearing is really cool. It bounces and stabilizes quickly and becomes still. So far my best. spin on the spindle was 3:30. But here is the thing once the top begins to spin down the top begins to make a fantastic and incredible noise/racket!! It really surprised me and I have not seen it mentioned.
the forces look very different on the top as it spinns on the spindle the CG is way up on the top yet is spins beautifully!
i think I would have named this top "BUZZED" because the noise it makes. the stainless is pretty. i wonder what type of stainless steel it is??
I have a copper Jefferson which spins on its spindle with no bearing. It's not as smooth.
I might save save up for a brass version. I really want to find a top I will edc so far its a Jefferson or my tungsten. Maybe will try to carry this stainless steel Multnomah For a while. Kinda want to see how it holds up.
