Drivers seem to be hit or miss on win10. I can't get mine to work consistantly. It has the last default I set before I upgraded, but in the CAM software I can no longer find the menu to edit anything. Google search tells me this is pretty common. I've tried reinstalling everything, but to no avail. One fix that worked for a while was to physically change the port it was plugged into in the motherboard, but less than a week later the same problem cropped up and switching to the old port does nothing now. Super fun while it worked though!

FrankTheDank I had an issue like this also. It's apparently just an issue with the latest software version. I actually called NZXT and they sent me a link to download the previous version of the software and it works perfectly now.

FrankTheDankI thought I did, but I appear to have deleted the email. A google searched for HUE+ previous version just turned up an NZXT reddit forum post https://www.reddit.com/r/NZXT/comments/520277/official_downloads_all_cam_v3_versions/?st=j27ncugf&sh=b1dd8434. If you chose to not trust this, I can tell you that I called mostly because I'd just purchased it and had it working for a week before it quit. didn't take me long to get through to someone, and when I did they seemed to be aware of the issue. He fired off the email to me, I installed and had it working before ending the call.

FrankTheDankNP. I think the one I went back to is V3.1.50. The version on the "update avail" pop up that I wont install is V3.1.62. I haven't gotten an install popup for the top one yet, and I'm at work now, so can't check the version I've got going.

FrankTheDankThat has in my experience been due to firmware issues on the hardware, not CAM. Try plugging the unit into a different PC and see if the first startup provokes a firmware update. That worked for my Kraken and Hues (plural) so far.

FrankTheDankAnother fix is to turn off the computer and disconnect all power then hold down the power button so the power drains. The controller will reset and should work ok again for a while. I had this problem with an asus am3+ board but since I've upgrade to am4 with a gigabyte x370 - 5 board I have no issues.
