Seems the DataVac is the clear winner here. Have we voted to request MassDrop look into getting that unit instead of this?

ABBailey1981I worked in IT for a few years and personally own both the DataVac and the Hurricane. Both of these have their pros and cons. The DataVac is the clear winner as far as power goes. It's a 500-watt motor in that thing and it blows away(hah) pretty much everything. It could probably double as a leaf blower in the fall. It does get pretty hot after awhile though and of course the cord is it's main limitation.
The Hurricane is nice because I can pick it up and take it wherever to take care of something. In a work situation there isn't always a plug/extension cord available. I worked IT in a hospital environment so I couldn't just ask the doc if I could run a cable from his office real quick. It's also much more grab n go. If you're feeling lazy and just want to clean your keyboard or something real quick you don't want to get a whole operation going. It's just much more sit on the desk friendly.
tldr; they're both pretty great in their own way.

ABBailey1981The 02 Hurricane is portable, and therefore does so much more, clean your car dash and counsel, walk through your home and clean dust off plants, lights, window blinds, etc. This 02 is so much better, portability is major!
