I have one of the brown in size 6 and the length fits my foot perfectly but it is tight on the width. Would 7 be comfortable or too long for me?

PoringHow long have you worn them for? I have all sorts of issues with high insteps and wide feet, but unlined chromexcel tends to stretch for my width the majority of the time. It usually takes me a week or so of infrequent wear to feel comfortable, and comfort gets even better with time.
Also, how's the instep fit? I'd not go up so drastically on the length, especially on a loafer/moc, unless I was already really tight in the instep area. Otherwise you're going to risk having too much heel slippage.
It's also worth noting that wide variants of this style are available. So I'd not settle if the fit really is uncomfortable.
