@blouie SIZING QUESTION: Wolverine Classic 1000 Mile (actually Evans custom) sized 9.5 & E3 fit me well. Red Wing Iron Horse 8111 sized 9 & E2 fit me nicely. Thorogood 1892 Mondovi Boots sized 9.5 & D (via Massdrop) fit me well-enough. I have high arches and typically need the extra width (or a longer shoe for the width, but not ideal!). Brannock device puts me between 9.5 & 10 and approximately E wide. WHAT SIZE is best in these boots???

AnentBased on recommendations from OSB: "We have found the Elston Last (which is what the trench boot is built on) to be very accommodating. Everyone with an E has comfortably gone with our standard width (which is the only width we offer). EE and EEE usually go half size up."
I'm not really a boot-wearer, but I'm between a 9 and 9.5 with an E width on the Brannock. I got a size 9.5, but probably could have gone with a 9 instead; I found the toe box of the 9.5 a bit roomy for me. I placed a thin foam insole into that and they wear quite well now. The one thing that George from OSB always stresses is that the leather will stretch slightly when worn.

AnentOf interest:
Thanks for the message. I would recommend the size 10 if you are a size 9.75.
It is always best to size up a little, especially with your E width feet. The 9.5 might be too snug for you as our Trench Boots are true to brannock size. The elston last is also rather accommodating for wide feet due to the extra room in the toe box and instep region.
[Cap toe stuff....] Please don't hesitate to reach out with any other questions you may have.
Thanks again for the message.
Best,

AnentWhat is the last? I am a 9.5 in the 2030 last in a Viberg boot and trying to figure out size.
