Fusing traditional methods with green technology, Oregon-based Oblation Papers & Press utilizes the historical method of letterpress printing on paper made with cotton recycled from the garment industry. Unlike most pages made from recycled paper, these 30% recycled pages perform surprisingly well with most fountain pens and ink, with a bit of tooth but almost no feathering or bleed-through.
Note: At check-out, you can select any combination of two notebooks from Journal (lined), Occasional Diary (lined) and Sketchbook (blank).
In a further commitment to their green printing philosophy, Oblation Papers & Press uses wind-generated electricity and lays down soy-based inks using solid ink technology that reduces waste by 90% compared to typical color printing methods. All three notebooks are perfect bound with letterpress printed covers and 160 pages of acid-free paper with foxed edging.
