Why do the lower priced pens get packaged in a 2-pack? There have been some pens I would consider trying but I don't want to try 2 I would like to try only 1.

After using these pens for a decent amount of time now I can safely say that I would never purchase another again. This was a very bad deal, the workmanship of the pen is nothing spectacular. It does not accept an international sized converter well at all. The nib is extremely stiff and barely allows any flexibility.
All in all, for the price this pen sucks.

Just received these pens and I'm shocked at their horrible cheap quality. I've bought cheap $1 pens on eBay and they've all been better quality than these. I can't believe I paid $30 for them. Im very disappointed in massdrop for considering these for a drop. This will make me think twice before my next purchase.

Great news group! The vendor has let us know that the group's order was picked up and is on its way to our warehouse in New Jersey now. Based on the tracking provided these are scheduled to come in 7/31. Our warehouse team has been forwarded tracking info and will be standing by, ready to get these packed up and turned around as soon as they come in.
Sometimes shipments get delayed en route, not to worry as we will keep the group posted throughout the process and notify you all if anything causes delay.

Thanks again for joining this drop! With your help we were able to make it successful for the community. We've just submitted the group's order with the vendor for the OHTO Majestic Fountain Pen (2-Pack) and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.
As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them directly to you! The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 8/11.

Schmidt produces nibs for many pen companies. Some are branded for specific companies and others unbranded. Great workhorse nib.

What can anyone tell me about these "Schmidt" nibs.? I have gone in for this drop because I have seen positive reviews on the Ohto brand, but this isn't their propriety nib is it?

TasselhoffI believe Levenger uses Schmidt nibs for their True Writer line. I do have a True Writer from Massdrop and the stub nib on it is super smooth and is a joy to write with.
