choiceweb0pen0@choiceweb0pen0 Thanks for the link. I took a chance on the massdrop 2 pack Ohto Dude pen a year or so ago... It turned out to be a favorite every day pen. Sturdy, good weight and comfortable grip for writing ( even with my often uncooperative hands ). No complaints about how the pen writes, smooth and handles wet and dry inks well. The second went to a friend who uses it almost daily, over a variety of other pens, beginner to mid- ranged. So, I would imagine these to be as good a writer. I can not say for sure , anyone who has used the Ohto Proud that can fill us in ? Always interested in how others like their pens -

j-e-gThe Dude fountains are quality everyday pens. I have two myself that I use regularly. My only issue with them is the nibs are a little stiffer than I would prefer. I am most interested in getting an OHTO Giza that pops up on here from time to time.

choiceweb0pen0I will agree the nib is stiff/firm... I tend to grip hard and press down, so suits me well. Seems the more tired my joints get the harder I grip 😕 Although the nib does pretty good with inks and shows off some of their shading qualities. I am thinking of the Diamond Blue Velvet in the Blue Dude and I really like the ink shading of say, Noodler's Lexington Gray and De Atramentis Frankensence ... As always, finding your favorite nib, ink, paper combos are part of the intrigue 👍🏻
