You have two choices on batteries for these- rechargeable rcr123a or non rechargeable lithium primary cr123a. Rechargeable models only have roughly 1/2 the power output, but are cheaper in the long run (also higher voltage 3.7v versus 3v)
I'd recommend Olight 650mah or Keeppower 700mah protected rcr123a batteries. Illumn.com is a great resource, both are $6 or less per battery. http://www.illumn.com/batteries-chargers-and-powerpax-carriers.html?___store=default&battery_size=287&cat=120
For chargers an Xtar VC2 is less than $20 and a great place to start (also available at Illumn.com). I really like the VC4, even if it's somewhat slow charging.
