I just bought the limited edition Orchid color Oliso from Joann Fabrics for $65. Oliso is releasing a new line soon and this drop was not a deal at all, they just threw in a bunch of random items to make it seem like it was. I would check your local Joanns and/or abandon this drop. If we keep buying these stupid bundles, they will know they can keep getting away with it.

unbreakablesilencesHey @unbreakablesilences, This drop is for the TG1600 and the Oliso Orchid is TG1100 model. For people not in the know, the main difference is that the TG1100 has an auto shut off after 8 minutes and the TG1600 has an auto shut off after 30 minutes of non use which which is why it's a favorite among quilters.
I see the TG1100 in orchid is $179.99 at Joann's online. If you grabbed it for $65 that's amazing and a really good deal. Members who like purple should definitely check out their local Joann's.
SandyLucasI'm aware of the difference. I much prefer the shorter time as I don't like my iron to be running behind me while I'm sewing because it will either ruin my ironing board or my arm. Joanns is clearancing the Oliso in many markets because the price is too high compared to other brands. I like the iron but I would never pay over $100 for anything but a Rowenta.

unbreakablesilencesI have this iron and it's excellent! I paid 200.00 for an iron at a quilting show and it only lasted six months! I've been using this iron for over a year and it works perfect! No drips! I like the fact it gives me 30 mins. Before shutting down. That way I have time between cutting, sewing and then ironing. I think it's better than Rowenta... I have had several Rowentas and after a time, they start to drip.
