Anyone know about what a typicsl US optometrist shop charges to put in single-magnification reading lenses? E.g., +1?

Massdrop, the prices on the page are +$30, when going to checkout, it's +$50.
I wear 5102 - 53 Denison's, although, I paid $300 for them at my optometrist. They're comfortable, and I get a lot of compliments, I'm thinking of buying a second pair.

Does the lens width of the Denizen model affect the overall frontal width (dunno what's the proper term) of the glasses? Or are there compensations elsewhere to ensure it remains the same

Denison’s have been my go to glasses for a handful of years. Classic shaped frame. I wish they had more blends/swirls. Currently have four of em over the past few prescriptions.
