Any thoughts on why my E-PL5 doesn't recognize the lens? Took off the 17 mm prime, put on the new lens and don't see anything.

Wroachbarrretteyes, ish. The contacts can be finicky. i can get it to recognize now, but occasionally it takes more effort than it should to line everything up. The ergonomics of the lens and body together are a little awkward - it’s front heavy. i got an old omd-10 body from a buddy and have found it much easier to use.

CCoppMake sure the lens is well seated in the mount. If other micro4/3 lenses work with your E-PL5 camera you may have a defective lens.
