In my honest opinion once you have your monitors, you DAW and controller or production devices setup, the final accouterments are a good set of stands and some pads to isolate them.
Sturdy, solid, and adjustable, these stands will work in a number of applications. There are two different size and thicknesses of MoPads offered here, so depending on your setup, monitors or position, you can try dozens of combinations, angles and heights to achieve the ultimate reference position.
And no studio is ever hurt by having more cables. Cables fray, they break and who wouldn't want an extra XLR or mono cable when one breaks during a recording session?
But that is just my honest opinion folks ;)

SeanReidLots of value here, I had to back out though.
I've spent too much this week... curse you MassDrop.
Edit: Applied for a credit card, not that I need one, but I need to look into buying a new car soon. So I will re-join as soon as it ships in mail. Don't want this to pass me up.

Hey there folks!
There seems to be some confusion as to pricing and I would like to try to clarify the tremendous savings of this bundle.
Not only do you get a pair of On Stage SMS6000 stands, but you get not one, but two different sets of MoPads by Auralex. The MoPad and the MoPad XL, designed for different size and monitor/speaker applications. They can work for a home or pro studio, be used with the stands or with another pair of monitors you may have placed at a workstation. Also included is a pair of 25ft XLR or 20ft 1/4" mono cables, with the option to add another pair at check-out.
MSRP or Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price, is the manufcaturer's suggested FULL retail, not the market selling price. For this drop we have tried to offer a significant savings, $149.99 at the lowest drop point in fact. This is a remarkable savings over buying it elsewhere and we as always strive to offer the best pricing to our community.
Thanks for your posts and we appreciate your participation!

SeanReidI did notice that there were two sets of MoPads, however the vast majority of people don't need two sets. For this price or less they could get these stands and whichever set of MoPads fits their speakers and not have an unused set of MoPads lying around. It's practically useless to include the percentage of discount in relation to the MSRP because no one pays MSRP for anything. It would make a lot more sense to advertise your discounts in relation to the current market price.

Price is a little too high, can be bought for cheaper on amazon or on sale at sweetwater occasionally

Is this really a good deal? The stands are available on amazon for $80, and pads for $50...have a hard time believing they MSRP at $459.

homadThe pads are a plus. I can easily buy this stand for 100 bucks, but the foams are roughly 40-50 each.
They won't be in reach where I want to place them, behind my corner desk, so I won't have to worry too much about them tipping over.
