I have to admit, these yo yo moves are pretty cool. I'll probably get a beginners yo yo later on, not sure to invest $100 on something I have not idea how to use.

CorventusI'd suggest a DV888. Its very controllable for a new user but will last through to advanced use as well as being very durable, easy to modify and $30-40 relatively cheap to replace (it was $60 in 2009 when I got it). As a beginner get the new version with the more responsive bearing, if you move on to advanced just replace the bearing with a type C from One Drop's website.
