Nice looking pen, never had an eyedropper, will it burp? For the non initiated, I mean will it regurgitate a drop of ink from the nib, which is apparently what eyedroppers do.
Silviosee the review cornerstonetom posted below, but specifically watch about 10-15 seconds from where I will link to (3:59) https://youtu.be/KFfi4XlqEEY?t=239

It might. Drop user Layli is correct in stating that the OPUS 88 pens shouldn't burp due to the mechanism, but this is only if you have the feed shutoff valve closed (ie. the rear turning knob is in the closed position). For longer writing sessions, you must open the rear knob several mm's in order to not starve the feed of ink, and while it's open, it may burp.
Eyedroppers are more prone to burping because they are more susceptible to a build up of pressure when the ink and air within the barrel warm to your body temp (there's no insulation from this as there is with a cartridge or converter filling system).
That said, I have three OPUS 88 pens, and have yet to have one of them burp:
I open and close the feed shutoff valve with the pen's nib pointed up
I don't place the pen in direct sunlight or other sources of warmth
I don't leave the shutoff valve open during writing sessions - I only open it when the feed runs dry (every few pages)
I originally thought that eyedroppers were nothing more than a pain in the butt, but I've grown to really love mine. Tons of ink capacity plus additional leak/burp safety when flying make the occasional shutoff valve maintenance a non-issue. For me anyway.
