Aesthetically, the Orient Apex is a sight to behold. With it’s eye-popping color contrast and racing-inspired appearance, it would look fitting on a Formula 1 driver’s wrist. But behind all the bells, whistles, and vibrant colors is a whole lot of functionality. The Apex features a 24-hour sub-dial in addition to a slide rule outer bezel, which can be used for computations along with measuring speed. It’s fitted with Orient 46B40, an automatic movement of 21 jewels. It vibrates 21,600 times per hour and has a 40-hour power reserve. At 6 o’clock is a date window, while a subdial at 3 o’clock indicates the day of the week.

Quality Construction
Built with a stainless steel case and mineral crystal, this sporty watch is as sturdy as a high-speed vehicle. The back of the case offers a peek at the movement. The bracelet is available in leather and stainless steel for a secure fit on the wrist. With 50-meter water resistance, the Apex won’t fail if you take it for a swim, either.
