I dunno what it is about the bubble dome, but it really bothers me (I've never seen it in person that I can recall). Anyone able to chime in on it with their experience, preferably firsthand? Otherwise there is one specific model that I very much want. I just wish it was flat :| Also, can anyone say how loud these are?

treal512The domed crystal's much more apparent in person and it plays with the light, maybe not the greatest for easily reading the time but very pretty IMO. That domed crystal does make the watch rather tall on the wrist. It's fairly loud, the rotor especially, still not audible over something like a computer fan though.

treal512They are loud. The domed glass on the black dial ensures that you can't see the time in low light. Wearing mine in bright light as I type this. Predominantly a day watch. Good for work wear but leave it at the office drawer as you head home looking to catch a drink on the way.

siddharthbI didn't see the other options available so my comments above were for the Black dial. Also have the cream dial and blue hands (13/23 in the list but version 1). That is something that makes me smile. The leather strap is also nice for that price point.

treal512Orients rotor is on Ball bearings so its a little louder than some other automatics but not bad at all. I own their ray 2 diver and a 3 star dress watch. The bambino is supposed To be an excellent watch and value. Orient movements are very reliable and more accurate than alot of seikos in the same price range or even more expensive.
