Like a vintage astronomical clock, the Orient Executive Sun & Moon V3 has every bit of old-world charm you could ever ask for. The main attraction is the sun and moon complication between 5 and 6 o’clock Read More
Got this a while back to dip my toes into more premium watches, and it's a style piece for sure. I'm not used to the constant maintenance of an automatic watch, and I think I'll be getting a nice looking quartz in the future for my regular day-to-day to have reliable time keeping, but I'll keep coming back to this on special occasions.
When I saw it in the drop I thought oh man this is a good looking piece ... upon arrival it’s oh man I think I love ya.... nice size beautiful face ... is accurate? ... idk but damn it looks good ... I love classy not flashy ... this fits the bill ... would I prefer a Cartier ..... oh yeah ... can’t wait till some one notices and asks ... hey what kind of watch is that
Beautiful timepiece with the blue dial being particularly mesmerizing when it catches the light of the sun. Excellent fit and finish, with the included leather strap being of equally high quality. Would definitely recommend!
This watch has the look and feel of a more expensive timepiece. The detail around the subregisters and the outer edge of the dial give the dial a rich look. The movement winds and runs very smoothly. The only thing I don't like is the cutout for three dates, I don't like this on any watch. If I know today's date I can figure out yesterday and tomorrow on my own.
Big fan of Orient Watches. The Sun & Moon is gorgeous in my opinion, and Orient has some of the best blue dials around. It has hand winding and is hackable over the last generation. The watch is a bit big for a dress watch, and won't slip under a cuff. However, it's elegant looking and will look good in a when dressed well. I also have a the first generation Sun & Moon. The slight differnce in how the complications are arranged which after time you don't notice the difference. Great watch for the price!!
JacknifejackalSo many different social accounts it's easy to fall behind, so.... My apologies for such a late reply. The hacking and hand winding is very welcomed. So I would have to lean towards the Gen 3. I haven't seen it's fourth incarnation, do you like it?
