Having some issues with my watch. I only wear it a day or two every few weeks. maybe 3 to 7 days a month. Every time I put it on its off by multiple hours. Picked it up one day and it wasn't ticking, which was weird since its pretty new (only had it maybe 3 or 4 months). Put it on the next day and it was working again? Any advice??
JWar20Its a mechanical watch, which means it does not have a battery. Moving the watch around charges a spring, which will power the movement of the watch. If you do not wear it, after a while the spring will be decharged and the watch will stop moving.
So, I got my FER2700CW0 a few weeks ago and I thought I'd share my impressions with the community. Kinda surprised that it's quite a handsome watch. Looks much better than the pics even suggest. The applied numerals really take it up a notch as well as the inner tuxedo striping on the dial. Wish it had hand winding and hacking but not a deal breaker by any stretch. It wears like a thinner watch too so perfect for when my diver(s) wouldn't be right in a formal situation. The bracelet is folded links so it was a pain to size, but the style complements the watch quite nicely even if it feels a bit on the cheap side. I've gotten quite a few compliments on it, even over Skype. Running about +8 sec/day and has been stable and consistent throughout which is really quite fantastic. The rotor is a bit on the noisy side but quite tolerable. Overall a very satisfying purchase. Highly recommended if you temper your expectations accordingly. Would buy again without question.
I think you are showing the wrong image for the FER2700DW0 (white dial with arabic numerals)... should have all 12 numerals on the dial. The image of the FER2700CW0 (silver dial) is repeated twice. Fairly important mistake for someone thinking about ordering the FER2700DW0 as shown and only expecting the 3-6-9-12 numerals.
a fourth watch delivered to me in January? okay, sure. LOL. I love my V2 Bambino. tough to beat the value of an Orient. the reference FER27001B0 is going to look great on a grey suede nato.
