cincinYes, this watch is made in Japan - it says that on the back of the case. :) Not that much important since Orient QC is excellent regardless of where their watches assembled, but knowing the Japan made watches have some extra bit of attention helps.
The bracelet on this model is also of a higher quality then in other Orient watches in the line. Basically Orient Trooper is made up to a standard of Orient Star line but at a significantly lesser price.
