Is this some sort of Tai-Hao OEM job? They look exactly like Tai-Hao sets: same fonts, same keycap thickness, same way the double shot injection is done!

c_r_zI have many Tai-Hao sets too. There is a huge difference in quality. The originitive set is ok, but at this price its a steal.

tahoeriderWell, I would have loved to try this and compare it to the Tai-Hao sets I have but unfortunately the wallet is bleeding from Matt3o /dev/tty and with DSA Miami Dolch and GMK Yuri coming soon I will have to skip this and make a decision between the two.

intreppedIts 60 bucks on originitive site after tax and shipping. Its $46 on MD after tax and shipping. So yeah thats a steal

tahoeriderI don't know where you're getting that $60 number from, but it's $55.65 for me at checkout on originative with 3 day shipping. That's $10 off, and then I'd have to wait over a month + shipping at around 2 weeks. It's not a steal friend. A good deal, sure. A steal? Not at all.

c_r_zLooks like Tai-Hao manufactured keycaps to me... as you mentioned, same legends, same thickness, same double shot molds. Not sure how these are higher quality, but if someone owns both please describe why these are higher quality over Tai-Hao sets without the nano-biosis coating. It would not surprise me if these are actually manufacturered by Tai-Hao.

How do you do per-key RGB lighting on a Shift V2?
I saw the online configurator that lets you do this on the Shift V1, where it spits out a compiled firmware file to flash. The V2 doesn't seem to have this function in the Windows configurator, though. I can't imagine the answer here is "you're going to have to manually write the hex for every key in QMK, compile it, and flash that".
