This soft, supple belt comes from Orion Leather Company, a group of skilled craftsmen based in Myrtle Beach. It’s made with latigo leather, which is prized for its tensile strength, and treated with a blend of oils that make it flexible and resistant to the elements. Vegetable tanning has long been used to create durable, heavyweight leather with a lot of body, and this belt is also pit-drum tanned for a strong, firm, tight grain. Each one is hand worked for an even, uniform color, and boasts a beautiful natural texture and a smooth feel. Measuring about 1.25 inches wide, it has Chicago screws for easy buckle changing.
Note: At checkout, you’ll have your choice of hardware: brass or stainless steel.
