Oristo Razor

Engineered for a closer, more efficient, more comfortable shave, the Oristo razor is made in Canada of billet-machined 316L-grade stainless steel. The hourglass-shaped handle can accommodate both an overhand grip and a knuckle-pull grip, and the knurled grip zones provide greater stability and control—especially useful when your hand is wet while shaving in the shower. Unlike most razors, the Oristo’s blade is mounted to the anvil, rather than the retainer, for proper blade positioning. And for easier blade replacement, the anvil and retainer are designed so that the safe, dull sides of the blade overhang the edges ever so slightly. Finally, all critical dimensions are accurate to less than 2,000ths of an inch, making this the most consistent, chatter-free razor around.

Oristo provides a very efficient yet non-aggressive shaving experience. Of course, anything that's measured by an individual’s sense of touch is subjective. However, the design and engineering of the head, from the blade gap to the ultra-tapered retainer and the resulting shave angle, promote a pass of true efficiency while reducing aggression.
