Has there been any clarification as to whether this is a 0 degree bag Celsius or Fahrenheit?

mjmillerI think it is safe to say that this is not warm enough to be zero degree C or F. I say that based on the type of insulation, the loft, the cut, and the hood design.

mjmillerI noticed the same bag (44.95 on Amazon, liner is 16.95) is rated 0 F, same weights and dimensions. Of three customer reviews, only 1 was in cold weather (+17F) other two hadn't even tried it and the 3rd one was a juvenile scout who was "okay" in it but no temperature cited . Seems there is no EIN testing results on these so its hard to say if the 0 F is a survival rating (you will keep your toes at least) or a comfort rating.

mjmillerNew Utah company Outdoor Vitals has a Chinese-made synthetic 20 degree F (Comfort) at 3.5 lbs but $75. So weight and type of insulation might not be as far off as you think if that so-called 0 degree is lower limit. Price still seems whacked though... So much can be subjective... Anyway, I haven't seen that particular OV bag but I do have two of their 2 lb. 35 degree refurbs I picked up cheap for unexpected couch surfing or kid camping. They're not half bad.

DannyMilksAbsolutely correct. But at least I am able to provide a bit of personal data comparison on a synthetic in the same weight class, even if subjective. Meanwhile your company is still happy to push this unknown to its customers...
