So, I really like the HiFiMan RE400's sound signature, and it's my daily IEMs. Are these similar? If not, how do they compare? I don't see that many reviews that reliable talk about their sound signature.

DRaGZ For my ears the K06a's had a slightly better fit for on the go headphones. Can push the K06A's in firmly to seal, whereas the KC09's need to be pulled out a smidge to seal. Without a seal the sound is tinny|dim.
Both the KC06a & KC09 are a little heavy on the bass (which I prefer), although the KC09's mid and high-range seem to be a little cleaner than the KC06A's,
I also don't particularly care for the fabric casing on the KC09 cables, but it doesn't cause as much feedback as other rubber or fabric cables I've had in the past. Granted I don't get any clothes rubbing feedback on the KC06A's. -- So that was a little disappointing.

DRaGZReally different. RE400 is just smooth and neutral, these are slightly bass heavy with more impactful sound
