I am late to the party, but here is waht I think about this product. The idea of OOYH is good, but the fact that the author is using his own HRTF(or someone else's single HRTF) is the biggest problem here. You can't simply assume that his(or someone else's) single HRTF of a preset will match general public's HRTF. This is why other companies such as Dolby and Sony use HATSs that comply very specific standards that can accommodate broader range of audiences. Unless many of the parameters of HRTF, such as head width, size(x,y,z) of the pinna, amount of hair, etc, can be accounted for, and they can all be adjusted individually, this software just doesn't work except to the author(or somebody who measured the speakers) himself.
On the other hand, the measurement of speakers neither seem to be taken within a acoustically-controlled reference room nor taken with a reference-quality microphone. It is really quite a bit of shame for such brilliant idea.
