The drop says "one preset" available. Can we make our own preset, or they must be purchased separately?
AndyHuangHi Andy,
There are currently 27 different speaker/room presets available in Out Of Your Head. This drop includes one of the 27 presets in the purchase price.
You do not have to choose which speaker preset you want to purchase in advance. You can take your time and try all 27 presets for as long as you want until you decide which one you want to license. At that point, you can use the provided license redemption code to license one preset.
That's why we recommend you download the trial now so you can make sure Out Of Your Head works on your system and try all the presets.
There is currently no way for users to record their own presets. The presets are not just settings. The presets are measurements of actual speakers and rooms. We may offer that functionality in the future, but it would involve including custom microphones and measurement software.

AndyHuangSorry Andy,
I forgot to mention that you can purchase additional speaker presets for $25 any time similar to an in-app purchase. -Darin

Darin_Fong_AudioMy trial version seems to limit me to the very first preset, and does not have all of them available. It would be very helpful for a trial version to have all presets available.
ohshitgorillasHi ohshitgorillas, Sorry it's not clear, but the trial mode of the Gamer Preset is different than the rest of the presets.
With the Gamer Preset, you can initiate a one-time 7 day trial where that preset will work without interruption for 7 days. You can register for the 7 day trial one time. Once it expires, it will behave like the rest of the presets in trial mode.
The rest of the presets are available in trial mode indefinitely until they are licensed. There is no 7 day trail available. In trial mode, you can listen to the preset for 2 minutes at a time. After two minutes, the sound output will stop and a pop-up Purchase License window will open. You can either use that window to purchase a license or click Cancel. Then to resume sound output, just click on another speaker preset.
Each time you click on a new preset, the two minute timer will reset. If you keep switching presets in less than two minutes, the sound will continue and the pop-up window will not open.
So, all the presets are always available in trial mode. And the Gamer Preset is slightly different.
