Good hat - decent price. Some versions of the Helios are available at Amazon for $26 and the Sombriolet is available for $27 - both with Prime free shipping. The Helios (2.3 oz) is lighter, but the Sombriolet (3.1 oz) has a wider brim.
Could someone from MD please provide a shipping cost?
It would be helpful if the shipping cost for every MD item was given in the description, rather than having to wade through the checkout just to get a shipping price.

Thanks, Alchemyfire, but I'm hardy unique in asking MD to do this. And that's what's so frustrating ...
Customers repeatedly indicate that they'd like MD to simply include the shipping cost for items on the description page, rather than forcing them to click through to the checkout just to get a shipping price - and MD ignores us. And, of course, having to click through to check out is even more irritating because it generates "are you still interested?" spam in your inbox .
Here's the Massdrop "company Info" statement (https://www.massdrop.com/about):
We provide millions of members a place to connect, discuss, buy products together, and learn about the things that are important to them.
By now, MD should have learned that this simple change is important to the people who support their business . but I guess they haven't gotten the message yet ...
So why not take a moment to contact MD and ask them directly to stop this obnoxious, customer-unfriendly practice, by using their Community "Support" contact form: https://www.massdrop.com/support Please be polite and use civil language, but let MD leadership know that the customers who support their jobs would like this simple service. You might even start your message with an attention line:
ATTN: Steve El-Hage CEO, Jasper Chan CTO and Jason Bernick, Director of Logistics & Customer Support*
* Amusing that the Customers can only ask for "support" through a cumbersome webform, while "media inquiries," "partnership inquiries" and "become a vendor" all get a simple, direct email address. Also odd that the person apparently responsible for transportation and logistics, is also responsible for the decidedly different discipline customer support. Still not feelin' the customer friendliness ...

Novanglian"simply include the shipping cost for items on the description page"
That's not really viable. There are ~50 countries they ship to and you would have to list each one, that would make the page very long. That would also be for one package and shipping prices are not necessarily additive. Plus any drop that has multiple selections of different sizes would mean you would have to have a chart listing the location and each possible option, so now you have this huge spreadsheet on the description page. At that point you might as well just make a small widget to replicate the order page....but why bother to replicate that when it is all of a single click away? (Yes, it would be nice to have an "I'm just browsing" option so you don't get the reminder email.)
