I couldn't be more disappointed in the performance of this transaction. I purchased on February 2nd, it ended on the 12th. The package didn't "ship" until march 2nd. But that was just when massdrop printed the shipping label. It didnt actually make it to a shipping facility for another 5 days, (the 7th of march). And on top of it all, this package is sent using FedEx post, so my expected arrival date is march 22nd.
Other transactions have been great, but this one leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Mfialayep... Massdrop is good for discounted quality stuff... not the best in shipping time... but if you can wait and not be bothered by it, you'll get good deals.

thefeevYup. Cheap, fast, or good. Typically you can only get two of those three. This is hardly unique to Massdrop; I bought a backpacking quilt a year and a half ago and waited until November to get their holiday discount; because of the resulting rush of orders it was 9-10 weeks before I received the quilt (but I knew in advance it would take that long). That was no problem because I knew I wouldn't be using it until the summer backpacking season, and it arrived more than early enough for that.
Once you know what you want you can either rush over to Amazon or wherever and order it, or you can wait -- quite possibly months -- for a sale price or Black Friday or Massdrop or whatever to come along, and then wait some more for it to arrive. That's the way it works; Massdrop will get you stuff cheaply but not quickly. Sometimes it's worth the wait, sometimes it isn't.
