Xpfreakyeah stupid people wanting protection from wind and rain in the wilderness - how unnecessary. Nearly as bad as spending $200 on headphones. What blatant consumerism.

You're missing the point bro, got nothing really to do about "surviving" the wilderness...most of these peeps buying this are gonna doubtfully be wilderness warriors...even if you are a wilderness warrior, does it justify prices such as this from the retailer, because they can? Really? Guess believing the hype of product is worth paying exorbitant prices for a piece of $5.00 fabric cause it's "new and special"? We have to realisthat the perceived value vs intrinsic value is lost here because we believe it has to be that way, thinking for oneself is way to difficult, oh no! Even painful! Since we have to feel like either part of a group or stand out from this.

XpfreakI usually don't feed trolls but.... exactly why do you care what other people do with the things they buy? I seriously doubt those purchasing this product lack understanding about it's purpose, if they do caveat emptor. The point that you seem to have missed is that people are paying for lightweight, small pack size and fully waterproof. Your post strongly indicates you haven't spent a single day in the woods, let alone during a rain storm. Go buy any $25 nylon jacket and spend a good 30 minutes in a serious downpour and see if you are still dry. After a little experience you might reconsider your stance. Massdrop isn't for the "too rich to care" crowd... this is a deal site. Something your powers of social understanding seems to have missed.

ElectronicVicesYup,lights are on, however nobody's home...whether a deal or not, entitlement makes for complacency... not a lack of social understanding. Stating an opinion is not "trolling", just another angle of perspective nuff said

XpfreakyA condescending blanket generalization is not an opinion, it's inane banter from a person who obviously feels hostility towards others with different thought processes. Trolling is stating something blatantly inflammatory trying to illicit a response... what evidence can you proffer that your first post doesn't meet the general definition of trolling?

Xpfreakhaha, complaining about paying $100 for a $5.00 piece of fabric? You do realize that those $200 headphones you bought probably only has $25 worth of electronics in it right?
