How does it fit? I've got a melon of a head - 7 3/8 hat size.

I own this hat. It works. It covers my head, keeps sun out of my eyes and off my nose. It is adjustable. Folks, there is very little new in hat technology. To my thinking, do you want something with good SPF rating and are you conscious about weight? Do you like the color? For this hat I like the fact that the fabric cover lifts off the mesh, so I can attach a make-shift stupid looking neck cover

It's on Amazon for basically a buck more but free shipping... so not big savings here on MD as usual.

Everyone who’s pissing and moaning about sizes and colors stop acting like this is a drop for half-price Lamborghinis! It’s a just damn hat; buy it from Amazon in any damn size and color you want and get on with your life! I did, and it’s a pretty nice hat—my color, and my size too!

RayFEh, I'd still consider MD. I'm only aware of it, through MD & I'm not suspecting any QC issues or such from a hat purchase. I do agree w/ the gist of your comment though.

SpiritOneI'd consider MD if they had that hat in the color and size I wanted, too. MD didn't, Amazon did.
I have long hair and use caps to keep it back by putting it thru the hole in the back above the adjusting strap like a loose pony tail. I usually use ones with velcro as it doesn't grab and pull out my hair as much as adjusting buckles do. But I've not tried one with this type of snap buckle before. Has anyone with long hair who uses them like I do, had experience with this buckle type before? And did it grab/pull out your hair at all?

Presumably the mesh won’t stop the side of your head getting sunburnt.

I would order the hat, but the address function does not allow for adding military FPO or APOs as the state. Need to offer AE (Armed Forces Europe / Africa / Middle East) as a State option in the address field for me to get mail, and AP for those deployed in Japan or Korea..
