Oxford & Kin was founded by an optometrist with a passion for eye care, a creative drive, and a desire to give back. The result: handmade, high-quality eyewear—and for every pair sold, a full eye exam and a pair of glasses for someone in need. Inspired by South Africa and named after Nelson Mandela, these glasses are a refined take on the traditional aviator style. Each pair features a full-rim square metal frame with a metal brow bar, adjustable nose pads, and no visible branding. The polarized lenses provide reliable protection with enhanced clarity and contrast. 

The folks at Oxford & Kin don’t believe that simply giving someone a pair of glasses is enough. By partnering with Optometry Giving Sight, the company is able to support sustainable vision care in many impoverished areas around the world. Not only does OGS provide the necessary care and glasses, but it also trains people to serve their own communities as eye-care providers, ultimately creating a self-sustaining system of health care.
