You all may want to read the criticism about this game before pledging. Just FYI, the Kickstarter backers, and retailer purchasers are pissed.

zerosdeathIn reference to the quality of the minis one of the amazon reviews says "possibly worse than GW finecast". If that's not damning I don't know what is.

zerosdeathI don't agree, the minis are plastic and have good detail for the scale, there are a lot of pieces thou, they are certainly not made for beginning modellers.

EditrodThat's fine, not everyone agrees. I respect that. I just don't personally like it, and think the minis are poor quality. To each their own.

EditrodYa, it's always hard to gauge the comments on things like this. Are they really that awful? Or is it just a lot of people who've never dealt with mini's bought this thinking there wasn't going to be any work involved? I jumped on the drop this time around, we'll see what happens. I'll try to get a couple out and assemble/prime them at least and post some pics compared to other things I have floating around.

zerosdeathI thought you where just quoting the amazon review without knowing the product, apologies if that's not the case. I'm one of the original backers and i'm quite upset at the company for being unable to deliver, but i'm actually more disappointed because the quality of what WAS delivered, was quite high (for me, a miniature painter and wargamer for over 20 years), and i expected the rest to be just as good. its just too easy for most to get lost on the hate for the company and their incapacity to fulfil the entirety of the line. here are my guys all painted up

EditrodI was joining in on a comment made by someone else, who got that quote from an amazon review. No need to apologize. I just simply don;t like the game for a myriad of reasons, nor do I like the minis. Again, even removing everyone's bias, I love Robotech. What I was hoping for, was a game far more accessible to everyone. Maybe having a signature line for those like yourself who enjoy painting/assembling. My biggest gripe is the lack of what was done with this game. I don't like the minis. No big deal for me, I just won't buy it. Just sharing my thoughts, and the opinions of what others have shared on public forms. What I don't enjoy is people who are associated with the company trying to help sell this or any other game they are associated with. I thought one of the earlier commenters was trying to do just that.
That is my whole point.

alwalkerI build and paint on average maybe about a few hundred minis a year sometimes as many as a thousand or so, and I can honestly say these Robotech RPG Minis suck the big one. I would rather deal with 10 GW finecast models then one Batteloid from this game.
