I genuinely don't believe this one is worth it..... Not with those specs for that price....
BluJay614It's not all about the specs here.

Tex-ArozziBe that as it may, I still don't see the value. As such, I wouldn't personally advise it to someone unless they really NEEDED a more "durrable" or "rugged" laptop on the cheep, and didn't mind (potentially) not having a warrenty beyond 90 days.

BluJay614These things are like bricks. The market is only those who need the ruggedness for field work. There's no other reason to get one.

GiselleeeyYears ago I thought about getting one for my young kids. Probably the best use I can think of beyond the military. They are pretty bombproof.
BluJay614Rest assured, the entire IT community agrees with your personal advice.

BluJay614If you don't see value, you don't need one. Many people also have no use for chainsaws, SDR rigs or climbing shoes.
Some of us do things a little more active than gaming in an air-conditioned suburban bedroom and see value in a machine that can take a little abuse in the field. Who cares about the specs? You don't take a machine to the desert to play Fortnite or whatever.
