I bought one of these in cognac direct a year ago and while I don't use it as much as I should, it's a good product. The finish on the leather is one of the best I've seen out of the box - waxy but supple, and very uniform. The inserts are cool if you're into that kind of thing.
A note for Field Notes and other 3.5x5.5-inch notebook users - the euro dimensions mean that the cover is wider horizontally than an FN notebook; it's not extreme, but is noticeable if you're only using a single. I personally like the edges of my covers more flush with my FNs, and was able to easily trim the cover to my preferred width, and add a notch for the bungee, with a ruler and a sharp pocket knife.
