UzuzuIf you're going to be elitist about it, you should probably spell it properly. "audiophile" Also, this has historically been an audio equipment category. Sure, we get a lot of great audiophile products, but that's not always the case. Also, you can wire in these headphones if you wanted to.

UzuzuI would have to disagree with you on the point that wires are better then wireless. Bluetooth 4.0 has greatly changed the game with the response and transfer rate gap that was experienced between the 2. Bluetooth 4.00 can now match if not beat the transfer response time of wire often coming in at .5-1 ms response and has also narrowed the bit rate gap as well easily almost matching wire. so your information is out of date. the only thing is that yes these are not as great as they are still Bluetooth 3.0 only meaning that they don't get those benefits

AntonyFaragThat has nothing to do with audio quality. It's about the conversion of digital audio to analog audio and the amplification of that audio. Nothing that could ever be crammed into the earcup of a wearable headset could match a proper DAC and amp.

you would be surprised how well it can be done with smaller circuits. people are just so biased to vacuum tubes without any real knowledge of how it really works and don't realize that there is no difference between a transistor and a vacuum tube. it is all a placebo effect. if anything the fact that it has to travel 6 ft of cable for an analog signal is probably worse leading to more degradation of the signal where as a digital signal is less prone to degradation.
