Would buy if it was 100% GMO Guaranteed. I'd much rather have seeds that grow larger, ward off bugs on both the aboveground portions and roots. These terrible hipsters and there "i get all my supplements from rainbows and dandelion sun beams"

Jollyrifficyawn. You dolts obviously don't understand what "heirloom" means. You can't have GMO vegetables and they be heirloom at the same time.

gnarledcoulee heirloom is an old cultivar that is maintained by gardeners and farmers, particularly in isolated or ethnic minority communities in western countries. The term has nothing to do with GMO. Genetically modified crops and/or seeds are plants used in agriculture, the DNA of which has been modified using genetic engineering techniques. In most cases the aim is to introduce a new trait to the plant which does not occur naturally in the species. Examples in food crops include resistance to certain pests, diseases, or environmental conditions, reduction of spoilage, or resistance to chemical treatments (e.g. resistance to a herbicide), or improving the nutrient profile of the crop. On average, GM technology adoption has reduced chemical pesticide use by 37%, increased crop yields by 22%, and increased farmer profits by 68% . GM food products must be rigorously tested before they can be sold—far more so than conventionally bred crops. The testing process can take 7-10 years, and must include evaluations of potential risks to humans and livestock as well as potential risks to wildlife and the environment. Maybe before calling people stupid, actually use google, or that the very least, ask a farmer. This "eat healthy" bs where gmo is the devil, and everything must be gluten free when only 1% of americans have any sort of sensitivity to gluten. It's just a way to pull more money out of people by spreading FUD.

JollyrifficUnfortunately, medical studie have shown a direct correlation between GMO's and gut problems, including micro perforations of the intestines. These rigorous tests ou are talking about are funded by the companies themselves. Same with the drug companies.

JollyrifficAnd most gluten intolerance is actually Roundup intolerance. Crops are soakedd in Roundup just before havesting to make it easier.

JollyrifficGood luck finding an agricultural mega-corp that will allow you to gather seed from your GMO crop and re-plant it, rather than buying new seed from them again the following year!
