Alright so this has dropped again so I'll review it a bit. This is the first Vaporizer I have used so I'll be comparing it to a Glass Bowl.
Alright to start with, this thing is smooth, the temperature drop from not using a lighter is amazing. The flavor out of it is a lot different it seems clearer almost, even compared to using hemp wick. Battery life seems plenty fine for a couple sessions throughout the day, I don't think it would hold up if you had multiple people smoking out of it though. Smell seems to linger on the device and it seems to smell quite a bit while it heats up but the actual vapor can be blown into a room and it won't stink it up too bad.
If your interest is stealth this thing is only alright. There are four LEDs under the flower cutout and they are bright enough to light up my ceiling at night. There is apparently a stealth mode that makes the lights dimmer but I couldn't figure out how to get it working, apparently you shake it during the start up but I'd be worried even if I could get it to work it wouldn't be consistent as a stealth mode should be. Beyond that hardly any smoke and you don't have to light a lighter, smell is the only thing you have to worry about.
The high is different but at the same time it hasn't changed. The highs seem to have lost a disorienting effect, hard to explain but I guess you'll know what I mean if you use a vaporizer.
I really don't think the Vented Oven Lid and Pusher Screen are worth $45 save some cash and go spend it on weed instead.
Overall the Pax 2 is great so far, it's awesome not having to carry a lighter, the smell seems to be way less then a pipe, battery life holds up pretty well through a day and the high is pretty nice.
On another note: Massdrop your shipping was shit, you really really need to put paper into the box it absolutely ridiculous my Pax was free floating inside there when I spent $292 for this.

SoukuwI actually picked up one of these exactly one week before this drop started, talk about good luck lol.
tl:dr - Great portable vape that gives a great experience. Look for the D3lta 3D Studios' Pax2 caps to make it almost odorless when carrying it around or storing it. Maybe skip New Vape's Pax 2 pusher, screen and vented oven lid?? Up to you.
Anyway, I agree with almost everything you've said. The flavor is definitely a lot cleaner and a really nice "experience", if you will. IMO it could definitely last a full day on one charge and you could probably split a session with just one person. The only problem would be figuring out a discrete way to carry your plant material with you if that is a concern. I really wish there was a built in way to store just enough for a second bowl, even if it meant the device would have to be slightly larger but that's probably a bad idea. This thing will reek if you have it packed and plan to store it somewhere like your pocket for later, or especially after, use but there's an easy fix for that.
On Reddit someone recommended D3lta 3D Studios' Pax2 caps and I have to say they pretty much make it orderless. I mean if you put it up to your nose with the caps on you might be able to get a very slight hint of the odor but its pretty much non existent once its in your pocket. Also, they sort of protect it from dings and scratches at both ends. At $4 for the pair I REALLY think its a no-brainer...
As for stealth, yeah the 4 LEDs are pretty bright and I'm not sure if you can dim them but I actually like them. If you don't want to stand out too much (ignoring the smell while vaping which will probably more of a problem in public tbh) you could always just use your finger to cover them.
I ended up getting New Vape's Pax 2 pusher, screen and vented oven lid on my own and besides the fact that they seem to be very well made and of high quality, I'm honestly not sure how to feel about them. The pusher+screen definitely makes a difference. The Pax definitely feels like it gets hotter than usual with both of them in there. Normally I would set the heat level to 3 but with the pusher+screen I find myself having to set the level to 2 maximum and even then you can still end up burning the bud fairly quickly, that being said, I'm not sure level 1 gets hot enough either. The vented lid helps improve air flow but you have to remember not to draw air in too quickly. Currently I'm trying just the screen+stock lid with out the pusher and I'm liking it so far. I have to go through more "testing" before I can make a final recommendation but at this point I could say maybe you could just skip them and pocket the money??

SoukuwIf the LEDs are a concern, you can put your thumb or a piece of tape over it.
In comparison to the Pinnacle Pro(while it lasted) and the Arizer Extreme Q I have, the PAX 2 works comparably well.
I used the PAX 2 back to back switching between the old screen and old lid, with the vented lid and pusher screen - I think it's a huge benefit and consider them worth the money. Aside from more air flow, it's easy to spot how much more evenly everything is being vaped inside the oven with the accessories. I think I would've been disappointed with the PAX 2 without the add-ons as the the lid side of the oven was consistently under-vaped.
The downside to the pusher screen pieces are that they're just begging to fall and get lost somewhere, especially with it's design that means for you to dump it out completely every new session. The cap is prone to being dropped as well.
Cleaning has been pretty painless so far(minus the fear of pusher screen pieces falling down the drain). Pipe cleaners seem to be essential so it'd be worth picking up a whole bunch of them before the included ones run out.
The magnetic charging base is really convenient but not very stable. I've found the battery life on mine to be pretty good, but haven't really let it drain down to below half empty. Can get 3-4 sessions while staying above 75%.
Overall, my only real gripe is how fiddly refilling the oven is(with the pusher screen anyway).
