using the keycap puller that comes with this set caused one of my switches to to break when trying to remove a keycap... Now attempting to remove it is quite difficult :/

Today I've received my keycaps, the Red/Black variant. Just installed on my das keyboard 4 professional (typing on them right now). I don't know if I've been lucky, but I expected way more problems... instead, everything went smoothly (almost). The only problem I've had, both the shift keys got stuck when pressed and did not come up. I smoothed them with a cutter on the inside and now there is no more friction, they work like a charm.
xankwondoIn my case, the top side of the shift keys. I pressed the keys slowly, on the center, left and right sides, trying to understand where the friction was. After a little smoothing, I put them back on the keyboard and repeated the process, until there was no more friction.
Idk why I thought these would come with stabilizers or stabilizer-fittable keys, but they don't. Heads up to anyone in the future who may make the same mistake. The space bar was unusable for me and the shift keys are going to get on my nerves.
If I'm not wrong, your keyboard uses costar stabilizers. You have to move the inserts from the original keycaps to the new ones (or buy replacements). Look here for more info: https://deskthority.net/wiki/Stabiliser#Inserts.
VengefulCaptainI did; I ordered the Slate/Lilac alpha keys with Onyx/Onyx modifier, but they shipped me the Cement/Lavender alpha keys with Onyx/Onyx modifier keys =/
These finally came today, the fingertip feel is soo good. Now I just need some extra PBT keys to cover 4 more keys (the Ducky Legend has dedicated volume keys and a calculator launcher for some reason)
Is the drop suppose to include a full size keycap puller? I only received the finger puller. :/
*EDIT* So I emailed support and we had a couple of exchanged emails. I had to photograph everything I received and email them. They are out of wire keycap pullers but will work with you to figure out a solution. So email support :D get the ball rolling.
Finally got a chance to try out these keycaps! I ordered the Cement/Lavender alphas with Onyx/Onyx modifiers. As my terrible luck would have it, the backslash key and num pad zero are Onyx/Onyx instead of Cement/Lavender. :(
Got a delivery notice yesterday, but fate had one more twist for me. I got home and checked the mailbox (where it said it was delivered) and nothing. Nothing on the porch either. Had someone decided to steal my package that I had been waiting on for 2 months?
Nope. Today the mail lady came and told my roommate she had scanned the package, and dropped it in her purse. She then said she prayed to god to remind her to bring it back this morning. Thankfully her prayers were answered and she remembered.
Just got home and put them on, and am happy with the quality. I picked up the slate/lilac with onyx/onyx modifier set. I replaced my stock Coolermaster Quickfire Rapid-I caps and these are much higher quality. Typing feels much better now, and in the past 2 weeks or so several of my backlights had gone out (unfortunately quite common on this model apparently) so it wasn't looking very nice anyway. The backlight doesn't seem to penetrate the doubleshot (not that I expected it would) but still gives a nice underglow effect, which is what I was hoping for.
If there is any coating on these, it must be pretty thin as the keys all have a slight rough texture as PBT should. I agree with the above post regarding the tray, but not a huge loss for me. It also did ship with a plastic key puller rather than the metal type shown, but as I already have a metal one, again not a big problem for me.
