I love Peachtree but honestly the OPPO HA-2 is a better deal at this price point:

ES9018 over ES9010
13 hours battery over 8 hours battery
Same form factor
Even functions as a spare battery for iPhones
Only $20 more than this drop (and cheaper than the Peachtree's MSRP).
ArjanI agree, the Oppo HA-2 looks to be very good.
The HA-2 has been my main comparison to the D14, so far.
At this point of my audiophile-ness, I doubt that I would know the difference between any of the latest options.
What I really need to do is go find a source to compare the choices for myself.
ArjanBe careful with marketing specs...
The shift has a 4100mAh battery. The Oppo has a 3000mAh battery. As someone who has tried both extensively before deciding, I can tell you the shift lasts longer! Also, the shift functions as a battery backup for iOS devices too. To my ear, the shift was the more musical sounding device. I returned the Oppo. Try for yourself though. The shift is an amazing DAC by any standard. I now have one on my desk and one in my travel bag. Very happy!
