Wondering if anyone else has registered their product for the lifetime warranty?
It's been a while since I got the bag, but I'm only looking to register the bag now. I have a v1 version of the Everyday Messenger (when Massdrop's listing says v2, but whatever I guess), but the serial number tag on mine doesn't have a 13 length number, but instead is only like 3 or 5.
Looks like pricing is only a couple of bucks less what everyone else is selling, so not as compelling. I would have gone with the 30L to better fit my gear, but I can work with the 20L I have until I find a better deal.
What? Really? It said 15% just earlier when I was reviewing the options. I didn't want a bag but a couple accessories - unable to buy the field pouch or tech pouch without buying a bag.
The only thing I really don't like about the Peak Design every day backpack is that the shoulder straps odd design digs into my collar bones when it has any weight in it. Just cannot get it comfortable. Love the origami inserts though.
I wouldn't mind getting a set of these for travel. I'm in for a Messager bag. I hope they make their Travel Bag from their site in Charcoal one day. I also hope that Massdrop carries it because $300msrp is a little much for me.
The Peak bags are pretty compelling designs. However I keep passing them up due to the drab, boring fabric choices. Even just one legit black would be good enough. But instead we get 5 colors of tweed gray and beige?
I guess these are meant to coordinate with suits from Mens Wearhouse.
research the pro and cons of peak design bags before buying !
for bags lowepro protactic is a better choice for customizability of gear holding compartment
for messenger style bag take a look at tenba dna line
but if you want style, go ahead and grab peak design
TiansI had both the 30L and 20L and they exude quality. The materials are pretty awesome and the features are pretty unique. That said I’m still using my Tenba DNA 11 (might upgrade this to a larger one though). The backpacks are somewhat heavy and the shoulder straps are thin in my opinion. Probably to keep the Capture system in use. Side access sounds awesome in theory until you actually start organizing and using them. You start going from side to side it becomes rather cumbersome. The Lowerpro Protactics is a great alternative from what I’ve read because you can take out the entire division, get your layout and put it back in. I definitely like that a lot more than what Peak Design offers but, darn these bags are just really cool looking. (I ended up selling or returning my PD Backpacks and opted for a much more comfortable REI Rucksack and camera insert for my m43 system and use my Tenba DNA for EDC).
