YagyuYeah cool buddy, just ignore the fact that they said they will continue service through 2017 and all the third party developers that will continue to work on the platform. Your comeback was pretty witty though, maybe put at least that much effort into research next time.

CadenKNo I'm not, I've look at the announcements that pebble has made and read a lot of community posts from 3rd party developers. It looks like pebble is going to be going on for awhile, the only issues that will probably arise are due to reliance on their servers which they said they'll start addressing with coming updates. You might have to tinker with it..idk, but all these people saying its going to be a brick in a month are just chicken littles doing their thing.

YagyuNever mind I'll do it for you. From http://help.getpebble.com/customer/portal/articles/2663228-what-does-pebble-joining-fitbit-mean-for-me-?b_id=8309
Active Pebble watches in the wild will continue to work. Functionality or service quality may be reduced over time, and Pebble watches are no longer covered by or eligible for warranty exchange. We don’t expect to release regular software updates or new Pebble features. Our new mission will focus on bringing Pebble’s unique wearables expertise to future Fitbit products. For best results, make sure your watch is running the latest firmware and managed with the latest mobile app (see below). Get the latest Pebble smartphone app from Google Play or the iTunes App Store. To update your watch firmware using the Pebble app: Menu » Support » Update Your Pebble.

DeadeyeDuncanMines a brick now it gives me errors constantly ever sense the last update and requires me to turn Bluetooth on and off every time. I wish I hadn installed the last update cause it has pretty much bricked it. But hey it cant be the update cause they didn't release it when they got bought by Fitbit... it was just the day before they announced that . post as many dev articles as u want man and drink that sweet sweet cool aid but mine is dead and I loved it and miss it.

DeadeyeDuncanI still haven't said for you to buy a watch... anyway you don't own one so all ur information is indirect or assumed, stop telling people its not gonna break and everything will be fine Sense you don't wear a watch at all why are u even here? to argue with people? Heres a dose of reality from a real pebble user Mine broke the day before they announced the buy out by fitbit, I used it every day and rarely took it off until the last update that basically made it impossible to use your milage my vary but Im guessing fitbit is a greedy tech company and wants pebble users money

CadenKBecause I was actually interested. Now there a requirement that you must own something before you present facts? My mistake.

CadenKI sited my sources, find issue with that if you want. Assumption are made by people with no information, which I clearly provided. Don't really know what you want man, I was actually trying to provide you with useful information. Clearly I wasted my time, big surprise. Yagyu on the other hand, just a chicken little.

DeadeyeDuncanSource* watch this www.kool-aid.com "pebbles will continue to work forever and ever" wow great quote right?! case closed pebbles are gonna work forever now I guess... oh wait those are words, words are not legally binding and their "promise" u are providing is already broken in some cases (my case) go out and actually use a pebble To see how it runs before thinking that everyone else is wrong and ur the only right one here

CadenKOk cool, and then what I do to dispute that is go to the site (kinda unneeded for this particular example) read the information. Then I come back to you and say I think you copied the wrong thing. Then (and I know I'm asking for a miracle on the internet) we have an intelligent discussion about it. I'm pretty sure I wasn't ragging on you originally man, but c'mon you know the difference here. Now however I'm arguing with someone who just wants a fight. Hope it goes well for you man, work on the way you communicate with people, it will benefit you in the future.

DeadeyeDuncanDude i don't even know what ur trying to say half the time are you arguing with me that Im not being clear when I'm saying ur just blindly believing what u read on the interne. Clearly I have to explain my argument for you first all of your information is gathered second hand from the developers. Because u said u don't own one this allows me to discredit you because I have first hand experience with the device (cause I own one) once again I must say to you mine is broken as of the day Fitbit bought pebble words are words man u can believe them when they make promises but in my case they have been broken and I don't want other to be disappointed as well

CadenKIf you have info that disputes mine post it, I'd happily read it. Only thing you came up with was a kool-aid website, you've also clearly show you don't know to do research. Pretty sure I've been typing in English, if it's not your native language I'm afraid the best I could do is google translate it....and everyone knows how that goes.
Also nothing happened the day fitbit bought pebble, pretty sure you had some bad luck on that one. Business deals don't work like that, it's not like a light switch. You got a bunk one, fine...happens with almost any electronics. Fact of the matter is I'm simply saying it not going to just be a brick tomorrow, if my facts are wrong show me the information you have gathered. A single experience isn't everything man, as much as it probably pissed you off.
Either way this is an amusing distraction from work. Looking forward to that link to the Tang page.

CadenKNice, sorry to leave you hangin'. Holy cow whale.to is a poorly designed website. For the record I do have breitbart favorited...right next to BBC, VICE, CNN and FOX etc. What you do is gather multiple opinions and the come up with a conclusion yourself. Considering I've repeatedly asked you to provide information other than your anecdotal experience it's pretty clear you can't provide information to counter mine. Love how you come up with nothing pertaining to the topic of discussion. (hint, that's how you know you're wrong.) Anyway, good weekend? I take it you voted for the Turd Sandwich over the Giant Douche, what an upstanding citizen. Is mummy proud of you?
