During my time as a Marine Corps operator, we used Pelican cases almost exclusively. Now that I’m a civilian, I find they are way too expensive for what I need (even used ones). There are other brands / knockoffs that are almost just as good, as long as you aren’t moving ultra expensive equipment in them. God bless.

BenzoIn the Navy we also used Pelican cases. They protected insanely expensive optics and other equipment. Imo pelican cases are the best and priced accordingly. I agree that there are other quality cases for more affordable prices available. I do use a pelican case to store a Colt national match, series 70, gold cup 1911 .45. My father bought two brand new after Vietnam and gave me one after my service. It is priceless to me and protected as such.
