A Return to the Renaissance
An homage to the great masterpieces of the Renaissance period, this special edition of the Pelikan M800 mimics the nuances of light and shadow present in paintings from this time. Pearl-like ribbons of color dance along the brown resin body and flicker as they catch the light, complemented by the 24-karat gold of the pocket clip and trim. The cap screws on to close, pushes to post, and opens to reveal a two-tone 18-karat-gold nib. Like all M800s, this fountain pen is equipped with Pelikan’s signature piston filling mechanism, which uses the whole barrel interior as an ink reservoir and draws ink when the end cap at the base of the barrel is turned.
