Pelikan Souverän M805 Stresemann Fountain Pen

For those who like an oversized pen that still feels balanced in the hand, the Pelikan Souverän M805 has a lot to offer. Measuring 6.5 inches long when posted, it makes a statement with its signature pelican-beak clip and 18-karat gold nib. Plus, it’s equipped with the company’s signature piston filling mechanism, which uses the whole interior of the barrel as the ink reservoir, drawing ink when the end cap at the base of the barrel is turned. The M805 is available here in two classic colors: black resin and Stresemann. The Stresemann is named for Nobel Peace Prize winner Gustav Stresemann, who was known in Germany for his trademark striped suits. The ink level is visible through the translucent stripes.
