Not to put a damper on this drop, but Amazon has this same set of 4 pencils for $19.43, Prime. So that would be free shipping for Prime members. I could have them by this Friday.

gdfj12Yeah.. and since the 0.5 mm is out of stock now, there really isn't much here that is worth it in this drop. Sorry Massdrop! I love what you do, but sometimes, you just can't compete with Amazon... :(

gdfj12Package arrived from Amazon. These are fantastic pencils! Great in the hand, good click, and the eraser isn't bad! Only issue is that the 0.3 mm model is incredibly sensitive. If the lead is broken, in my experience I have had to take apart the thing and poke the lead out of the barrel where it became lodged.

Cookster997Cookster997, you'll find that pretty much any 0.3mm pencil lead is very easy to break. All of mine break HB leads easily and usually require removing the tip & using the pin/needle to clear it out. You have to be very smooth & gentle with it. HB lead is probably the softest you'd want to use, try to get some H or 2H, they are less easy to break.
