This is an amazing headlamp! The red is awesome when I’m out taking photographs at night, providing plenty of light without hurting my night vision and when I’m done and packing up, the bright white is more than ample to help guide me back to my car. It’s even better when you purchase the rechargeable battery!

I absolutely love this headlamp. It has a great amount of battery life for the lumens it puts out. Comfortable and easily adjustable. Well worth the money for a solid piece of equipment. I use it almost every night at work and it performs like a champ! The green, red and blue lights are a nice touch at night, so as not to hurt the wild lifes eyes.

Works great, The batteries don't waste when you leave them inside; The light on maximum is not the strongest I've seed from a headlamp but definitely good enough.
It has been half a year since the purchase - used it in over 15 hikes and under raining condition.

This has been incredible for all sorts of applications, perhaps different than normal. Electronics, wood crafts, and all sorts of things- having a light that focuses where you're looking helps in many applications.

Great head lamp with a red light (Tactikka+) for the price. Very bright and perfect for my needs. Weather resistant so it does a good job staying dry in slight rain but may not hold up to a down pour.

The lamp is good and does what it is supposed to do (nice colors in RGB version). BUT it doesn't have any type of gasket or whether seal. So even the mildest misty rain will get in the batteries compartment and inside the lamp. I think this is a major flaw in product design and makes the lamp kind of useless as a primary lamp since you can't rely on it for an outdoor mission. So what's the purpose of it all??? Better go with Black Diamond's lamps that are better constructed and better thought out.

It's an okay headlamp but not actually rechargeable as sold. Apparently you can buy a rechargeable battery to use in it.

This isn't my first Petzl. I bought a Tac Tikka back in 2006. I used it quite a lot during a deployment to Iraq. This one has a lot brighter white light and, a memory function. If you turn it off on red light, next time you turn it on, it'll be on red. That's a definite bonus. I highly recommend Petzl.
