If you're shooting for the same $200 price (but may have to pay state sales tax in US), why not skip on over to Amazon? Right now they are $250 but with a $50 off coupon: https://smile.amazon.com/Philips-X2-27-Fidelio-Headphones/dp/B00O2Y2MZG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1481898959&sr=8-1&keywords=fidelio+x2
Would still love to see MassDrop ace that one - say at a $150 target price. That would be nigh on irresistible for us audio nuts / wannabes - right now I already have 2, nope 3 sets of headphones and only one head, so buying the X2's isn't at $200 a priority. Drop that price and I'll step in line along with all the other Mass Drop bargain audio addicts.

Richy_DingoYep, saw this on Amazon and ordered it. No tax for Amazon in my state (HI) so it came out to $198.90. A good deal, looking forward to getting these for sure.

Coupon no longer available - it was right on the product front screen in Amazon at the time I made the post 5 or so weeks back. No matter - electronics are cyclical, so it at least gives you a minimum target to shoot for that will probably come up again in the future.
Wanted to make one other point here. Am getting really concerned about the rise of fakes in the electronics industry - it's not been impossible for fakes to enter the formerly legitimate purchase paths - after all it's happened with fake prescription drugs. This is somewhat exacerbated by Philips in the US, where there seems to be a scarcity of product and purchase paths. So the point here is that we all love to get a deal for great gear, but just as important is to make sure you're not getting a fake. Right now, I see Philips US directing us to Amazon ($237), Target ($300), Walmart ($237) and "Quill.com" ($340) - so if you really want to be sure that you're not going to get a fake, maybe buying direct from one of those vendors (vs their marketplaces) or MD might justify the higher prices.
