Hello, I just joined, primarily for the audiophile products. Looking at purchasing the NHT C3 speakers for our new living room. Space is about 15 feet wide by 33 long and they will fire long ways. Space is just for general listening, music room with all equipment is downstairs, so hoping they will fill it with sound nicely. Cheers.

I did a quick compare to my 30 year-old Koss Pro4X+, and the difference is substantial. The Koss sounds as if I'm listening in a squashed box, and the Philips is wiiiiide open.
I had invested in an AKG 702 5 years ago, and while I was very satisfied with its sound, AKG (Harman USA) jerked me around with servicing a defect, so that the headphones were away from me for over 6 months. And then the defect was still not repaired, so I swore that AKG would never see my hard-earned cash again.
Since then, I've held off buying a decent pair of cans - these being Philips, I was more open to taking the plunge, and this Philips unit is definitely a keeper.
Philips has never disappointed me - my original and only CD player is the legendary CD650 with the TDA1541A DAC - now almost 30 years old, and the 32" TV (serving as my computer monitor) is also a Philips unit.
